'And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, upon his horns ten crowns and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.'' Revelation 13:1
In studying, I came across two interesting pieces of information. First, in 1975-6, the G7 was formed with the intent to formulate a one world system. This group consisted of the world's most industrialized nations. Which nations were they?
1. America
2. Canada
3. France
4. Germany
5. Great Britain
6. Italy
7. Japan
Then, I was thinking about the ten horns. I discovered in 1996, NAFTA organized the world into ten world ''super nations''. How did they decide the world will be divided into ten parts? In reading, it sounded similar to another historical event. The group decided the new world order (published in 1974) will best be carried out if the world can be neatly broken into ten perfect divisions, powerful,, perfect, nation-states. The group decided these ten would be best:
1. North America
2. South America
3. Australia & New Zealand
4. Western Europe
5. Eastern Europe
6. Japan
7. South Asia
8. Central Asia
9. North Africa & the Middle East
10. The remainder of Africa
''Mankind at the turning point'' was published in 1974, and stressed the need for a global governance. The best way to etablish this would be to divide the world into divisions, nations, and then set a ruler over each. These rulers would be accountable to Antichrist. Read Daniel 7:7-8, Daniel 2:41, and Revelation 17:12. In Daniel's prophecy, it appears once the ten nations are set, the Antichrist (the little horn) would arise to his throne for seven years. Daniel 8:25 says ''by peace he will destroy many''.
It is important to note, the NWO was officially created in 1776, and has been promoted by every president since. World leaders work together to further the implementation of this global system, culminating in the formation of NAFTA, and then the devising of a global division.
Notice in Daniel 7:7-8, he will pluck up three of the horns. Picture yourself in your garden, grabbing hold of a weed and pulling it u, by the roots. It seems Antichrist will war against three of the nations, leaving seven.These horns, kings, may be the seven empires throughout history, and depicted in Nebuchadnezzar's dreams in Daniel 2 & 7. These culminate in the final empire, the revived roman empire, being the global influence.

3. Babylon - Dan. 2:38; Dan. 7:4
4. Medo-Pesia - Dan 2:39; Dan. 7:5
5. Greece - Dan. 2:39; Dan. 7:6

7. Revived Rome - Dan. 2:41; Dan. 7:7-8

Communion....
Greetings in the Lord. We gather here today, together, in communion with one another and God. What do we mean when we talk about ''communion''? As a Christian, and a minister, it has dual meaning. First, it is a gathering of the saints, you and iI and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Second, it is a rite of our faith, the taking together of the bread and wine. In recognizing this celebration of remembrance, I ask you to turn in your bibles to 1 Corinthians chapter 11, verses 23-26.
''For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you. That the Lord Jesus the same night which He was betrayed took bread; and when he had given thanks he brake it, and said, take, eat, this is my body, which is broken for you, this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying this cup is the new covenant in my blood; this do ye as off as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lords death til He come.''
We must never get too comfortable, making taking communion together as common place. We should always do as Jesus said, do this in remembrance of His death on the cross for each of us, awaiting His coming. It is an awesome opportunity to walk together with Christ through reflection upon His death and resurrection. We do not offer a new sacrifice, but remember the sacrifice done ''once for all'' (Hebrews 10:10). Doing so in remembrance of Him should be more than just a fleeting thought, rather we ought really recall all we can about our saviour. He left heaven to take a human body (Phil. 2:5-6). He bore our sin in his own body (1 Pe 2::24). He took our lace on Calvary (Is 53:54-56). He shed His blood for our redemption (1 Pe 1:18-19; Rev 1:5; Rev. 5:9). He conquered death for us, forever (Matt 28:1-6; Rev. 1:8). He ascended back to heaven to complete His redemptive work and to serve as our high priest - forever (Heb. 7:25).
1 Timothy 1:15 reminds us Jesus died for sinners. This is a very deep and powerful thing we need to really think about. How has Jesus broken body and shed blood impacted your relationship to God? What does this mean for all humanity? Do you tell others of His sacrifice, that they also may receive redemption?

Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 reminds us Jesus is our only means of accessing heaven. He is the only means ooof ours salvation. It is crucial that I boldly proclaim the gospel, in its entirety, without compromise. In a day of ''seeker-friendly'' churches,
we need to hold fast to salvation by grace alone. We need to read, believe, obey, live, the whole of the gospel. I stand firm on preaching the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, even at the risk of pastoring but a few. II'd rather bring a few strong Christians with me than drag many into an eternity void of Christ, separation from God, in hell.
Recall, at the end of verse 26, Jesus tells us to do so while we wait for His return. John 14:1-3 has Jesus telling us He has gone to prepare a place for us, where He will come and receive us Himself. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 tells of the rapture. The dead in Christ will rise first, then those which are alive and remain shall be caught up together t meet our Saviour in the clouds, to be with Him forever! We are told to watch for Him, in Matthew 24:44.
If you read, and you should, verses 27-30 of the eleventh chapter of 1 Corinthians, you'll see there are warnings, beginning with examination of oneself and not to take lightly the partaking of the supper. We must come to take the supper with a clean heart. It is not to be taken by unrepentant, backslidden, or unbelievers. Alan Carr gives us some questions to consider before taking communion. Am I saved? Is my life pleasing to the Lord? Are there hidden things in my life that need to be dealt with? Are there any issues between me and another belli ever? Am I ready to take of the bread and the juice with a true heart of worship of God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ?
Lastly,, brothers and sisters, in case you have not received communion but would like to (you may as often as you like), I will lead you now. If you don't have communion bread, a saltine, preferably unsalted, cracker and grape juice will be all you need. Take your bread in your hand, pray with me, ''Lord Jesus, I thank you for going to the cross for me, and suffering a broken body for my sin. I receive this bread in remembrance of your sacrifice. Amen. You may eat your bread now. Next, take the cup in your hands and pray, ''Jesus, I thank you for shedding your blood for the remission of my sin. Thank you for redeeming me and sealing me in Your new covenant of grace. Thank you Lord for being my sacrificial lamb. Amen You may now drink your juice.

A Note On Chrislam..,,
Greetings in the Lord!
This is not Sunday's sermon, just a note to you all, something weighing heavily on my heart tonight. Let me give a few verses first.
''But should we, or an angel from heaven, preach another gospel to you, than we have preached to you, let him be accursed.''. Galatians 1:8
''And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather, reprove them.''. Ephesians 5:11
''Now I beseech you brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which we have learned, and avoid them.''. Romans 16:17
''Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist, he that denieth the Father and the Son.''. 1 John 2:22
In summer of 2012, churches in thirty-two states began teaching a new doctrine, rather a new religion, called Chrislam. This is the brainchild of Saddleback Church's senior pastor Rick Warren and the Crystal Cathedral's The belief is that Christianity and Islam can be melded and preached as one faith. In June 2012, over three hundred churches across america preached using a Quran and a Bible side by side. Since, Mr. Warren has begun his project, ''Kings Way'', inviting imams and pastors to come together in unity. He states that Chrislam joins ''sister religions to a common bond''. This, however, is not possible, not personally, but theologically. The core teachings, in the holy books are diametrically opposed.
Islam teaches God has no Son, and anyone believing such will cause their soul to burn in hell. Muslims are commanded in the Quran, to seek and slay the infidels wherever they are found. Infidels are everyone outside Islam. The Quran is very explicit in.naming Christians and Jews, calling them pigs and dogs, stating they are not to be trusted. Anyone joining gods to Allah are pagans, calling out trinitarians.
Wycliffe bible co. defends its decision to change such verses as Matthew 28:19, which states, ''baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit'' to now read, ''to cleanse them using water, in the name of Allah, his messenger, and his holy spirit.'' Wycliffe has authorized this new text (replacing all references to His Son, Jesus) to be replaced. They claim, ''this way, Muslims can be evangelized.'' This is a false and heretical belief.
Lastly, christian Bible companies have been publishing new versions at a rate of one a year. Do you know how many versions of the Quran there are? ONE! The original text has been preserved and is the one that is read. We need to read our bibles, friends and stop mishandling the Word of God, especially compromising it to make others comfy. Take a stand, do not tolerate defamation of the Scriptures to occur.

Christian - To Be Or Not To Be?
Greetings friends!
I'm working on an important message as we speak. It will focus on something so important our Saviour spent time discussing it Himself! So, watch for that post, soon to come. Today, I'll be fairly brief in speaking to you, my brothers and sisters in Christ. It seems there is much confusion surrounding the Christian faith. In being persecuted, the ''attacker'' is not often clear on what the true faith is and who is a member of the body. In this short discussion, I wish to ''clear the air'', hopefully helping to pinpoint exactly what one means in saying ''I am a Christian''.
Let's begin with a man, a religious leader in Jesus' day. His name is Nicodemus. He is the person Jesus is speaking to in John chapter 3. Scripture says Nicodemus came to Jesus at night, as he often did. Nicodems was counted a among Jesus' friends. He knew Jesus was from God as none could teach and perform the miracles Jesus did. Jesus responds with, ''except a man be born again, he shall never see the kingdom of God'' (In 3:3). Nicodemus, as each person who first hears the gospel, says, ''how is that possible?" ''How can one go back and be born again?" ''Jesus answered and said, verily verily i say unto thee unless a man be borrn of the water and the spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God.'' He further states that which is born of flesh is flesh but s/he who is born of the spirit is spirit. So, the words spoken by God the Son tell the only way to enter heaven is by a spiritual rebirth. Men are creatures of flesh. We walk from birth in the flesh. We are surrounded by a flesh driven world. It is because we are fleshly beings, we cannot enter eternal existence with God our Father. Jesus tells us the ONLY way a person can access heaven once s/he dies is by being born again, a spiritual rebirth. To live after the flesh involves mainly self gratification, fulfilling all the desires of the flesh, ''if it feels good do it''. To be born of the spirit is to die to the flesh. To do this, then, means we can enter into he presence of God - who is spirit.
Christianity is called a ''cult'', ''exclusive'', ''hate mongering''. This is because of the very words I just quoted byy Christ. One more verse to consider is found in the fourteenth chapter of John, verse six. ''Jesus saith unto him I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.'' In this aspect, I concur, sure, by accepting Jesus Christ as the sole way of getting into heaven seems ''exclusive'' or ''narrow-minded'' as we are often accused of. Simply put, folks, yeah, there is only one way, one path, one means of getting into heaven. Call, accuse, rebuke if you must, this is the Son, God in the flesh, telling us flat out this is how you enter into eternal paradise. He does not, however, force this upon anyone. Rather, He gives us a choice, choose life (heaven) or death (hell). The choice is yours, I made mine over a decade ago, I know where I stand and what eternity holds for me. Do you?
Turn to Romans with me for a moment. Chapter 10, verse 9. ''that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the deaad, thou shall be saved.'' I need you to turn in your bible to one more verse if you would, Acts 2:21, ''and it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be saved.'' Also consider Acts 2:38, ''then Peter said to them, repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the holy spirit.''. Its not hard, brothers and sisters, repent, tell God you are sorry for your sinfulness. Confess Romans 10:9, and as Luke said, ''ye will receive the gift of the holy spirit'', thus, you are reborn! You must then read the bible, fellowship with other believers. Its how you grow in faith and walk in righteousness, was we are commanded to do. Its not always easy to do the right thing. Jesus tells us in John, we will face trials and tribulations in this world, but rejoice, He has overcome the world! Amen!
One more thing regarding the spirit. Ephesians 1:14 assures the converted believer s/he is sealed, we receive the mark of God upon us! It says that mark, the seal, is the sign we are His. It is then that we are children of God, it is then we may cry out Abba, Father!
In closing, friends, there are many sects, denominations, and people who call themselves Christian, but I assure you most are not. Only those who adhere to biblical Christianity. This means no other, extra biblical, texts are used in study or worship. Scripture only guides the worship, lessons, and structure inside and out of the church gathering. (see 2 Timothy 3:16) The only head being Christ. Any other is to be rebuked. the sealed believer is part of and incorporated into the body and thus, we are the church. We believe and guide our lives solely via scripture. God instructs His church on living and worshipping in His word.
Contrary to other religious groups, anyone (regardless of background, culture, RAC, class, gender, anywhere you live, etc.) is invited to the body and church. As an example, I witnessed to a young college student in Nigeria, who had been a devout Muslim. Though her life is in danger, she chose Christ last June, and is now sealed!! Praise God!! God does not discriminate, everyone has been invited to join His body.

We believe and guide our lives solely via scripture. God instructs His church on living and worshipping in His word.
Contrary to other religious groups, anyone (regardless of background, culture, RAC, class, gender, anywhere you live, etc.) is invited to the body and church. As an example, I witnessed to a young college student in Nigeria, who had been a devout Muslim. Though her life is in danger, she chose Christ last June, and is now sealed!! Praise God!! God does not discriminate, everyone has been invited to join His body.

Walking In Darkness.....
Greetings friends! I pray you are well. It Has been a couple days since we gathered here. One thing that im often asked is, ''How do I, being a Christian, walk in this world that lives in darkness?" Well, this is both a difficult question and a simple one. Bible Gateway suggests a twofold answer, which they use Titus 3:1-2 to answer. This suggests conduct was believers toward (1) government and (2) other people. I suggest a third component, being (3) conduct in our own life and toward God.
When ''obedience'' is mentioned in scripture (I.e. Romans 13) the teaching is that when something is obligatory, or doing what is required as a citizen. Other scriptures state the church should pray for the government and leaders, that they make godly rulings. People, I should note, often misinterpret Romans 13 and suggest the Christian is to obey the government and support leaders even when they are against scripture. The chapter actually states, as I've often taught, that when the government is conducting itself in accordance to the Scriptures, we are to obey.
As an example, there is legislation that defines biblical teaching is ''hate speech'', punishable by jail time and/or fines. If a couple of the sesame sex come and want me, a Christian minister, to marry them, I can't refuse. If I refuse, though scripture is clear on homosexuality, I may be arrested on ''hate crimes''. I will never obey the mandates from the government in this area, as they are acting in anti-Christian ways.
Then, we have ''subjection'' to the government. This means we follow the rules of the leaders. When we approach a red light, we stop. We avoid drugs and reviling. Simply put, we are good citizens. Why wouldn't we be? Scripture says we are ''ambassadors of Christ''. We represent Him on the earth! We should go about being model citizens, showing ourselves to be great examples of of our God, and our King.
This includes acting in peaceableness, gentleness, and meekness. There was once a statement, ''Christians are to be doormats''. Obviously, this is not true at all. We are to bee kind, considerate, humble people. Christians do not make waves, stir up trouble, or set out to rebel. BUT, we represent a just. God, who discerns when there is injustice. We must not compromise our faith, values and morals in serving as citizens and fellow citizens in our society. We are not to tolerate abuse, immorality, violence or sacrifice the biblical principles to honour corruption, immoral, unjust leading. If you're physically attacked or threatened call the police. If abortion, gay marriage, drug use, sexual immorality are the law, we, as ambassadors, may (and ought) speak boldly against such. Make sense?
There is the personal aspect also. Friends, first and foremost - COURAGE! We must hold fast to the faith, standing strong against all adversity. There are many Christians who are filled, tortured, jailed for their faith. In Afghanistan, for example, it is a capital offense to speak out loud, anything pertaining to the faith, scripture, and especially mentioning Jesus Christ. Churches are not allowed. Its not so prevalent here I in America, however, there is a more ''camouflaged'' persecution. Such is the sort of thing I mentioned above, hate speech, no public prayer, media prohibiting and bashing biblical Christianity. We need to stand firmly on God's word, He said what He meant and He meant what He said!
In Romans, we read, ''do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.'' (Ro 12:2). 1 John 2:16 defines the world as all that is in it, and begins with, ''the lusts of the flesh.''. How pertinent to our lives today!! We are in a lust-filled, lust-driven world. Everywhere is sex, money, power, murder (abortion, drug-related crimes, actual murder...), adultery, gambling, drug abuse and addiction, theft, idolatry, etc. All is drivenby lusts, or desires, of the flesh. ''If it feels good, do it'' has become the mmantra of the world today. We are called to come out and be separate from all this, be in the world, but DO NOT be of the world. Let's be honest, this world is not as God intended, rather it is as man made it. Men choose the way of living and do it. As Christians, we must adhere to God's intended wayof life for us as dedescribed in the bible. If the world chooses immorality, rejection of God, we can choose for proper living and obedience of God and His holy word.

''This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. ''Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. ''. James 4:4
''Beware lest any man spoil you through philsohy and vain deceit, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ.'' Colossians 2:8
''And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.' Colossians 3:23
''And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.''. Ephesians 5:11
''Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the fullarmor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.''. Ephesians 5:11-18
Lastly, a great thing in confronting and standing strong in this fallen, ungodly world is fellowship. It is important to fellowship with believers, as it strengthens, edifies, and carries us til the soon appearing of Christ, who is coming soon to rapture His church.
''And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.''. Acts 2:42
''Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?". 2 Corinthians 6:14
''And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.'' Hebrews 10:24
''Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.'' 1 Peter 5:8
See, brothers and sisters, we find ourselves in the last days. While we know and anxiously await the return of our Lord, we are doing so in very perilous times (2 timothy 3:1). We are commanded to live holy lives, walking always in righteousness. I often hear how hard it is to remain in the light when surrounded by darkness. Read and study your bible daily. Pray daily. Fellowship as often as possible. No matter what manner of evil you see and hear, rebuke it and stand fast in your faith. Stay close to your heavenly Father. Every morning, as you get your clothes on, put n the full armor of God. Christ is coming, stay focused and keep looking up!

The End Of The Age....
Greetings in the Lord!
Today, I bring you an urgent message. We are now at the end of the church age. We are short on time, friends, as our blessed Saviour is at the door, ready to come in the clouds of glory to receive His bride, the church's you, I, and all His saints!
''Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He has purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in Heaven, and which are on Earth; even in Him.''. Ephesians 1:9-10
''If ye have heard of the dispensation of grace of God, which is given me you ward. How that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery (as I wrote afore in few words).''. Ephesians 3:2-3
While there are those who agree and others who do not, I consider myself a ''dispensationalist''. Scripture, as we just read in Paul's letter to the Ephesians, confirms the idea of dispensations, or ages. First, I think it would serve this sermon best to describe what is meant by dispensation. While some list seven, I break it into five. Dispensations break the while of time, from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 into divisions. Here are the dispensations:
INNOCENCE - Adam and the pre-sin age. Length of time is unknown.
CONSCIENCE - Adams fall to the law. Period of time, approx. 2424 years.
LAW - Moses' law to John the baptist. Period of time, approx. 1500 years.
Grace - From Christ to the present. Period of time, 2000 years.
MILLENIAL KINGDOM - Christ's second coming to the end of the
millennial reign. Period of time, 1000 years.
Notice, the age or dispensation of Innocence has an undetermined time length. This is because archaeology hasn't found enough evidence to support a definitive frame of time. Perhaps the people of Adam's time didn't leave much by means of physical evidence nor the introduction if all things by the heavenly Creator. Things have been discovered, however, going all the way back to Noah's ark! Recently, a chariot wheel was fond in the ocean floor from the exodus of the Jews from Egyptian bondage!!
Why doesn't Jesus just show up, and set up His kingdom now (as post-tribulationists believe, erroneously so)? We need to move from age to age, as God has preordained from the beginning. We need to shift from the age of grace (also known as ''the church age'') to the Millennial Kingdom, at which time the King of Kings will rule and reign for a thousand years! The shift will be sudden, and will begin at the very instant the church is raptured (see 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51). Take a moment to read 1 Thessalonians 5:9; Romans 1:18; Nahum 1:2; John 3:36; Revelation 6:16-17; Revelation 11:18. Second, He will usher in the marriage supper of the lamb! Third, God has to turn His focus toward the salvation of Israel. (Romans 11:23). While the 144,000 in revelation are converted Jews whose eyes will be opened after the tribulation has begun. Lastly, He is completing His heavenly work, preparing for His reign, kingdom, and supper!
What can you do? First, if you are not yet saved, in a personal relationship with Christ, you need to pray right now (see Romans 10:9-10; John 3). Actts 3:19 states, ''Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may blotted out. when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of theLord.''
Matthew 24:14, ''The gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.'' (See also Acts 3:20; Matt 28:18-20) Also, preach to all, Jew and Gentile, the grace of God. Interestingly, scripture tells the message was preached, to the jews by peter and to the greek by paul (ga2; Eph 3). There's not much time left, as I will show you in my next sermon. The only thing left, then, is to get right with God and preach the word, getting everyone you can to come into relationship with our Father. An additional thing I'd suggest is to get a prayer partner. Someone you can fellowship with, encourage one another, be accountable to one another, pray for one another, and study the word together.
Find out your assignment, your call or purpose, from God and do it! We are not here to say a two minute prayer to be sealed (Ephesians 1:14) and coast through this life, entering the kingdom by the skin of our teeth. We are here to be salt and light, working as ambassadors for Christ, preparing the world for the rapture, that they may be counted worthy to escape!
''Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.''. Matthew 24:44
Read my message on the last days and you will undoubtedly see we are in the last days, just waiting for Christ to appear in the clouds. It is the time Paul called the dispensation of grace, the end of the church age. The next event on Gods calendar is gathering His saints. This could happen before I complete this sentence! Blessed Are The Persecuted.....
''Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.''
2 Timothy 3:13
''Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, fortheirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets which were before you.''. Matthew 5:10-12
How have Americans experienced persecution?
In 1962, prayer was taken out of public schools.
Christian holidays and festivals associated with them have been reclassif-
ied, and given secular names.
Because of steps to intimidate and control pastors to incorporate and en-
courage seemingly harmless pagan worship while churches are
being discouraged from preaching the true gospel message.Many
pastors fear losing their 501 c3 status if they don't comply.
Biblical views are being classified as ''hate speech'', and such is prohibited
from being expressed in media, such as radio, TV, newspapers.
Today, in 2014, many of the largest mainstream ''christian'' churches are

How should you handle being persecuted against?
As a Christian, you should examine persecution and expect it. While no one wants to be hurt or upset, it is important that you know what persecution is and expect that, if you are walking right, you will be persecuted. Paul reminds us in 1Peter 2:21 that if Christ, being God and our saviour, was persecuted, why shouldn't we expect to be? John 15:19-20 has a message from Jesus, where He tells us if you were of the world the world would love its own, but you are not of the world, and so the world hates you. In fact, ....''the time will come when they will think its a good thing when they kill you..'' (John 16:2).
Before I continue tell you about surviving persecution, I need to address the idea of avoidance. Remember peter said if we are living godly lives we will suffer persecution? If you are not experiencing persecution, either you are not sharing the fact that you are a christian (hiding it to avoid persecution) or you are not living godly lives. If you live like unbelievers, you won't experience any persecution. You need to examine yourself to see where you fit, and pray and change it.
God tells the believer to confront the world. This will undoubtedly bring persecution, but He promises to both give us the words that we are to use and to be with us! ''I will never leave you nor forsake you.''
I encourage you to read acts 3. You will see how Peter and John healed a man and were loved. When they began preaching the gospel people became offended and angry at them. We see this today. Sch responses from offended [convicted] people include: ''The Christian is incompetent''. ''You are ulearned''. ''You're ignorant''. ''You're spreading hate instead of love.''. Why does this happen? Because, at the core of it, people don't want to be accountable to a creator. People, through secular humanism, have become little ''gods'', in control of ones own destiny. Padding self esteem is top priority. Today in competitions, everyone gets a trophy, noones a loser. No one left behind. Kids can't be disciplined, and are not exposed to Gods word. T has gotten to where a large number of churches have eliminated the words ''sin'', ''lost'', ''hell'', and replaced with ''churched vs. unchurched'' ''love''. These churches have removed crosses from buildings and pulpits, as someone's feelings were hurt. We as Christians must never be ashamed of the gospel, reading it as is, believing, and evangelizing.
Persecution brings growth. As you learn to respond, giving a defense of the faith, you learn more in the scriptures and you get ''thicker skin''. The more you suffer for Christ the stronger of a soldier you become in the cause of the cross. Matthew 13:24-26 tells a parable of the wheat and tares. The wheat is strong, enduring and carrying the church through boldly preaching the word and suffering for doing so. The tares, on the other hand, stay out of things, lay quiet, keeping the peace. Ultimately, they suffer little or not at all. In essence, they are dead weight while the wheat carries the church. James 1:2 tells us to count it all joy when you are persecuted.
1 Peter 1:6-7 tells gold is tested by fire, so, then, or faith is tested by persecution. Stay strong. Don't let the world engage you in battle, where you end up sinning in your anger. You will be strengthened through persecution.
Friends, persecution is nothing new. The early Christians were jailed, or tortured, often unto death. As Christians in America, we are being pushed down and being silenced. We are legislated against, claiming [only the] Christian bible is hate speech, punishable by fines and or jail time. There was a minister in Florida, for example who was arrested in his pulpit for preaching about the sin of homosexuality. What should you do? Fellowship with other believers. Read and study your bible. Pray each day for strength in trials. Don't use anything but scripture in defense and confronting. Don't fight the world using its tactics, you are a child of the most high, as saint, a soldier for Christ. Be strong and courageous. We are the church. We are blessed! We house the Holy Spirit. In 1962, prayer was taken out of public schools.
Christian holidays and festivals associated with them have been reclassif-
ied, and given secular names.
Because of steps to intimidate and control pastors to incorporate and en-
courage seemingly harmless pagan worship while churches are
being discouraged from preaching the true gospel message.Many
pastors fear losing their 501 c3 status if they don't comply.
Biblical views are being classified as ''hate speech'', and such is prohibited
from being expressed in media, such as radio, TV, newspapers.
Today, in 2014, many of the largest mainstream ''christian'' churches are

Before Gog-Magog......
Whether your pastor has preached it, you heard a TV preacher speak on it, or you read in your bible, the Ezekiel 38-39 account of a huge war. Remember there are three major end time and post rapture wars that will take place. If you haven't heard, here's the compact version: first, Russia will join forces with Iran, Iraq, Germany, and other nations in Europe. The nations will come in and attack Israel. Then, after a ''break'' in the war, after things have settled, China will join in and there will be a second campaign. The third, and final, war will be the biggest, bloodiest, war EVER - the battle of Armegiddon. Those will be a man and spirit war, where Christ and His saints will gather to fight Satan and his demons. But, we'll look at these more in depth later.
What I am going to share with you, friends, is an event occurring before the Gog-Magog war. Scripture leads us to believe the three campaigns I mentioned in the last paragraph occur at the onset and ending at the end of the tribulation period. There is something no one reaches about, I call it the ''Pre-Gog-Magog War''. This will be taking place (as can be observed today).
So then, what is this ''Pre-Gog-Magog'' event? Grab a cup of coffee and your bible, get comfy, and let's dig in. Ready? (I'll try to make this as concise and understandable as possible).
Let me begin with a note on Magog. The Scythians are a group of people included in the peoples of Magog. After being repulsed from Media the Scythians settled in the fertile area of the Ukraine, north of the Black Sea and to the west of the Caspian Sea. (Colossians 3:11 shows the Scythians not outside of Gods salvation). Elam is believed to be the area of Iran.
Important to note, Russia supplies weapons to nations in the biblical end time nations, for example in Ezekiel 38-39.
Next, let's compare Genesis 16:12 with Ezekiel 38:21. Because Israel has not returned to God, He will allow armies to come against them. In Genesis 16, scripture tells us Hagar is with child, and his name was Ishmael. He was a wild man. He was the father of the Muslim nations and people, as Jacob was the father of the Jewish people. As the Ezekiel account tells, these role shall come to take a spoil, or to take advantage of them and rob them. The Jewish people will return to God later, as we'll see in another study. i will say, however, that the way this can happen is Israel will dwell in the land carelessly (or belach, sp. Hebrew for ''false confidence).
There will be a huge earthquake in Israel at the time of this great invasion (see Ez 38:19-20).
Read throgh Ezekiel 38 and 39. You will notte that these nations do not border israel directly. Now, turn with me to Psalm 83. These are nations that do border Israel. What else can we see in this psalm? These people do not merely wish to take a spoil, they hate Israel and the Jews, and want to wipe them off the map, forever! I bellieve the psalm descrbes this prelude, the ''Pre-Gog-Magog Battle''. Ezekiel tells its a God hating people. Before this as Ezekiel 37 tells us, Israel was not a nation, then in 1948 they became a great nation!
Psalm 83, verses 4-5, show a Muslim coalition. A people under Islam. Edom are the Palestinians and the south Jordanians (the tenants of From are the Palestinian refugees). Remember Esau? He is. The father of the Edom people (Ge32:5;; Ge 36:8; Ro9:10-11;De2:4-5;Josh24:4). The land of Seir was occupied by Esau's descendants.
Edom refused Israelites passage via the King's Highway (Nu20:14-21;Nu21:4;Judg11;17-18).
Ammon consists of Palestinian refugees.
The Edomites (Ps137:7-9) like in the Babylonian times, watched and encouraged as Israel was invaded and attacked. (Sidebar - The Rockefeller'sand Rothschild's , meaning ''red shield'', are descendants of the Edomites). Edom became Idumea, the name on the maps until Rome changed it to Palestine, choosing the name as it would be most offensive to Israel. Note, the judgment of Edom is mentioned more than any other in scripture (is 11:14;Is34:5-17;Is63:1-6;Jer9:25-26;Jer25:17-26;Jer45:7-22;Lam4:21-22;Ez25:12-14;Ez35:15;Joel:19;Amos 1:11-12;Amos:11-12;Obadiah 1:1-21;Mal1:4).
Let's look at some more nations. Psalm 83:6-8. Moab is a descendant of Of, today are Palestinian refugees and central Jordan. Hagarenes are the Egyptians. Gebal is northern Lebanon. We mentioned Ammon above, did you know the capital of Jordan is Ammon? Amalek consists of the Arabs south of Israel. Philistines are modern day Palestinians/refugees, and the games oof the Gaza Strip. Tyre is the Hezbollah and the southern Lebanon. Assur was Assyria, today is Syria and into northern Iraq. Sissera, Ps83:9-10;Jud4-5. Then, ndor is the northern slope of little Hermon, about seven miles from Jezreel.
Next, I refer you to Ezekiel 25-32. Throughout these texts you will see Am on,Moab, Edom, Phillistia, Tyre, Sidon, Egypt. All are muslim nations.
Let's posit a set of events:
Israel regathered in the land. (Ez 37:12;Is11:11-12; Due 30:3-5)
Ancient cities rebuilt and inhabited. (Ez 36:1-5, 8-10)
They meet Arab (Muslim) resistance. (Her 44:16; Zeph 2:8; Ez 25:12;
Ez 32:5; Ez 36:2; Ob 1:10)
Israel establishes an army for defense. (Ez 36:6-7; Ez 38:8)
Adjacent Muslim nations confederate. (PS 83:1-8)
The confederacy is committed to the destruction of Israel. (PS 83:1-5,10)
War starts between the confederacy and Israel. (Jer 49:2, 8,19)
''My people Israel'' title is regained. (Ho 1:8-10; Ro 9:25-26; Ez 36:8-12)
Israel defeats the confederacy. (Ob 1:9,16; Ez 25:13-14; Jer. 49:10, 20-21;
Is 11:12-14; Is 17:1; Is 19:16-25)
Israel has become an exceedingly great army. (Ez 37:10; Jer 49:21)
Israel takes prisoners of war. (Jer 48:46-47; Jer 49:3-6; Zeph 2:1-11)
The region is reshaped. (Is 49:2,10; Zeph 2:4)
israel expands its borders. (Ob 1:19; Jer 49:2; Is 19:18-19)
Israel dwells securely in the land. (Ez 38:10-12)
What does all this mean? Well, look at the list I made, and ask yourself at each point, ''Has this happened/Is this happening?" This whole thing leads up to the events that take place in the Gog-Magog War. If you've been following the news, you can't have missed the situation in the middle east. It took off, for america, when Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice (under the Bush administration) began devising, revising and implementing her ''Roadmap to Peace''. Israel would give up land in exchange for peace. She stated in an interview that israel must not interfere with palestine's becoming a state. The sympathy was for palestine. Today, Israel given up over a third of its land and there is no more peace resulting. Recall Joel 3:2, where God gives a direct warning against anyone coming against Israel and dividing its land.
In very brief overview of Daniel's 70 weeks of years, there are 68 weeks, a 69th week of ''waiting'', and then the 70th week, ushered in with the rapture. The church age, where we are now, is when the theory I posited in this post, will occur. The interval of the 69th week (Dan 9:26) is a time of preparation and setting up for the rapture of the church and the onset of the tribulation. Recall, the next thing to occur is the "Pre-Gog-Magog Battle'', then the rapture, then revealing of Antichrist, the 3rd temple/peace treaty (Dan 9:27), and the tribulation begins. In The Last Days....
Friends, it is important for me to write to you daily, if possible, to bring you to scripture showing you where we are in these last days. The biblle tells what the signs of the end, the last days are (read in your bible Matthew 24; Mark. 13; Luke 17 and 21). Jesus commands His followers to discern, or know, the signs, that we may prepare and be ready for the next event on God's timeline - The RAPTURE!!! I will be leading you, guiding you through the time we are living, and helping you to be ready when our Saviour comes to claim His bride (the church, saints).
Before we get into today's entry, I encourage you to read, study, the bible verses I include and refer to, daily. Share this with your friends and unbelievers, that we all are informed, that none shall perish, NOONE GETS LEFT BEHIND!! I will be your pastor as you may (and please do!) respond, like, pass on these posts. Ready? Let's begin by first discerning these times, shall we?

Perilous is defined as difficult, threatening, or dangerous. We live in a society, a world, whereby people are determined toward unrighteousness (eph 4:22; Dan 12:10). We are surrounded by every form of media, radio, TV, internet (accessible anytime anywhere, via cell phones, computers/tablets, etc.) newspapers, and so on. These sources of connecting to the world around us, and the world connecting to us, are saturated with vulgarity, perversion, violence. As we read above, not only are people chasing and enjoying such sinfulness, they are trying to pull Christ's saints into that way of living. When we don't approve of or refuse such we are pressured, attacked, persecuted. We are hated, despised, for doing what is good.
As God's chosen, sealed (eph 1:14) children, we are to influence children to be good, decent people so that they may grow in Christ and become good and responsible, respectful adults. Rather, children are growing up in a society where doing so would negatively affect their self esteem (pride). We are not to esteem ourselves, we are called to esteem others. The bible states clearly that disciplining children (spanking, scolding, etc.) will neither hurt nor kill them, rather they will learn to do what is right. Teaching them the word is part of growing kids too. No discipline at home --> no respect at home --> no respect in society. Bad kids with no discipline, instruction, boundaries, control grow to be adults behaving as such. Remember, by withholding a proper upbringing your doingg. More harm than good to your child[ren].
Just a few clarifying terms to help you better understand these mentioned sins, which are separating you from God if unrepented of.
Unholy and Wicked - Profane, no regard for decency or shame.
Without natural affection - Homosexuality
Truce breakers - Do not keep promises.
False accusers - Slanderers.
Incontinent - Without self control, ability to discipline oneself; ''if it feels
good, do it!"
Fierce - Untamed, savage, brutal.
Traitors - Betraying others for ones own gain.
Heady - Reckless, rash, acting without rational thought.
High minded - Puffed up, thinking too much of oneself.
Friends, see 2 For 5:17 regarding having a form of godliness. This is the Christian who professes God with their mouth yet does nothing with it, not acknowledging Christ. As a believer, you will stumble and sin at times (1 In 1:8-10) but if one is truly saved, s/he won't seek to or wallow in sin as they had in their ''former'' life (1 Jn 3:9). As saints, we are commanded to avoid, or turn away from such people turn away (matt 7:21). Ask yourself if each person in your life is building you up (in the faith) or creating stumbling blocks (1 Cor 15:33). You must, if you are going to be counted worthy at His coming, separate from all wickedness/wicked people (2 Cor 6:17; Ro 17:17; Phil 3:14-15). While there is but a short time before he arrives to rule (rev 6:1-2) you must honestly understand and declare Antichrist is coming (1 Jn 2:18). There are many antichrists in the world today, but the one who reigns throughout the seven years of Tribulation, is about to appear.
What can we do? Meet here daily for wisdom, instruction, guidance and biblical teaching. We, as believers, shall meet here in fellowship, to encourage, grow, and prepare for life in the last days and beyond, one another in Christ Jesus. Preach the gospel unto all the earth, and then the end shall come (Matt 24:14). ALWAYS be looking up and watching for Jesus, He is coming soon in the clouds to gather His church (1 Thess 4:16-18;1 Cor 15:51-52).

It is important that you understand, by reading above, that as the bible describes the last days, we are in those times. Before we get into today's entry, I encourage you to read, study, the bible verses I include and refer to, daily. Share this with your friends and unbelievers, that we all are informed, that none shall perish, NOONE GETS LEFT BEHIND!! The Great Music Debate
I am often asked the question, ''Can I listen to secular music as a Christian?" Then the dilemma spirals into what styles, or genres, are safe? Is only ''Christian'' music the safe choice? Is listening to any style of music joining with the world? I have talked at great lengths with believers about music. While there is no straightforward black and white answer, there is a ''test'' you can use in evaluating this for your life. Let's use seven areas to assess music in our life.
First, there is ''message''. I believe this to be the most important aspect to assessing if a song is okay for us. I need to address the idea that music is ''secular'' or ''christian''. Music in and of itself is neither, its the lyrics that determine this. In my pre-Christ days, I listened to satanic (actually about demonic and evil concepts)and hate-filled songs. Today such messages are literally physically nauseating and mentally troubling to hear. All words are theologically neutral, it's what is being said, the message that guides the appropriateness of a song. Pay attention to the message, if it is contrary to Scripture, the message is bad. I think something of importance ought to be stressed here. Christian family bookstores have declared a couple bands I enjoy to have a ''negative'' message. What is that message? The content has to be pretty bad to be banished from such a godly enterprise, right? Well, the first band deals with the books of Daniel and Revelation exclusively. The other band states Islam, Hollywood, homosexuality, even the current state of the church is morally and spiritually corrupt. Then, there are acts that are approved, because they encourage raising our handed to thee God of love who loves us no matter how we live, though the artist is mormon!
Second, ''purpose''. What purpose does the music/song serve in one's life? Why was the song written and, furthermore, what is it trying to promote or encourage? A song that speaks of ,for example, sexuaal immorality in a bad context has a good purpose whereby one portraying a lascivious lifestyle is obviously antibiblical and thus, bad for the believer.
Third, what does the music bring to the heart (mind) of the believer, what ''association'' does the song/music hold for thhe believer? I read a great example of this when researching the topic, using my least favorite style of music-rap. I may associate rap with being violent and degrading to women, while you might associate it with anger toward sin.
Memories. What does the music bring to us in terms of our past? If we have repented about something and the song brings us back then we may opt to iisten to something else. Never allow a song to take you back to a place in time when things were not so good. While memories rarely are completely eradicated from our mind, don't allow a song or band the opportunity to take you to a pre-repented of event in life. You see, there's a ''seccular'' band I listened to a lot, because the content spoke frequently of death of loved ones, past failures, etc. Sometimes, listening to the band takes me back, and I relive the painful experiences of that period in my life.then, there's another band that discusses life's bad luck. I like the stance, though. If I may, the band I'm referring to has a track entitled ''I was wrong'', in which the lyricist speaks of the bad luck, but thinks about his part in the way bad things came to be in his life. It makes me think f the terrible things I have experienced a and faced in my life, but from the perspective of, ''what part did I play in their coming to be?", ''what role did I play in the way thins played out, my behavior during the events and a a result of them?"
Next, does the music stir emotions I in negative or positive ways? While goth music may bring about depressing or ''dark'' feelings in you it might make me feel happy inside. It might touch upon things I feel or am experiencing and thus, bringing contentment inside me.
Understanding, or interpretation. Do I understand, door relate, to the style of music. While some may feel more at ease, or peaceful, listening to classical versus country, or rock versus blues. It is important to note that your dislike of a style should not be the criteria by which we determine whether the music is ''safe'' for other believers, as people often do. Remember, it is important to always judge a righteous judgment. This very important message read in Jn7:14 reminds us to use Yahweh's perfect Word to judge the world around us and not our imperfect, biased opinions.
Finally, is the music ''singable''? When I listen to a song, and find myself singing along, can I ''rejoice'' in the content? Going back to the band I referred to earlier, the song, ''Jesus Christ'' is a graphic portrait of a saviour who died a brutal death to redeem a lost sinner that I may one day have access to the throne of God. I sing along to this more comfortably than most hymns.
I recently got into a heated discussion with the daughter of a seminary professor over the damning result of rock music. The prof believes country and classical music to be ''safe'' as it is their music of choice. I reminded them the. Psalmist discusses various musical instruments. Nowhere does the bible state one genre is more holy than another. The hymns were written by men. It comes back to message, lyric over style of music. Anything else is purely legalistic.

Ministry In 2014!
Well, I am back! In the months since I posted last, much has happened. As y know, I had become sick in 2009. Though there's no explanation for what had caused it, I am at the end of the road, at last! I lost my right leg in June. I admit I was quite scared of going into that operating room, but I had a good prayer buddy with me, before and after the surgery. After the surgery, she was waiting to pray over me. My wife stayed with me, at my side, through the whole process. I've had infections, many hospitalizations, treatments, weekly trips to the wound center. It has been a grueling four years, to say the very least. I really struggled, though, after surgery. I believed my life would not be the same again, and not for the better. Well, .ife has changed, and drastically, but I am okay. The Lord has brought me through! I think a big part of my struggle had to do with my already being wheelchair dependent, since childhood. Ministry is a blessing and a challenge. Unfortunately, like every other part of life, image is important, yes even in the church! It was tough enough with two legs, now I look very different! As it was, I had been a tattooed, mohawked, jeans and tees kind of guy before entering the ministry.
All this being said, iI had a phenomenal church and counseling practice for the seven years before the illness began. I have been working with a woman for about a year, and active online in a ''web-pulpit''. I teach people in the building, those who contact me on line,people I meet in the community, etc. I receivers an inbox message in July from a girl I had been talking to in Nigeria. She said that when she had been contacting ministers in the U.S., they either blew her off or simply didn't respond at all. She told me that my kindness and honesty had brought her to a crucial, dangerous, blessed decision --she renounced Islam and accepted Christ! Amen, I led a devout Muslim to the Lord! Though I moved and much has changed in my life, it seems Yahweh has been using me all allong!
Things have been a challenge, but, things are moving in a mighty way! I have renewed my accreditation with the American Association of Christian Counselors, renewed my confirmation of communion with my licensing and ordaining body.. I will also be completing my last two and a half finals to earn my doctorate in theology, Biblical Counseling. I am going to be rebuilding the church in my community and reaching out to people as a counselor. There is so much work to be done, which leads me into a sort of ''deep'' area....
As I look around both in my community and into the world, I see there is much to be done. The church is in trouble. Christ's return is near, very near, and the church neither speaks of it nnor warns unbelievers of this blessed event. The rapture (1Thess4:16-18) is about to happen and many, too many, are completely oblivious. I am going to press even harder the message of biblical pprophecy. Anyone who has been to my church services know very well where we (both the church and unbelievers alike) are in the prophetic timeline and what is to come. The message of love is awesome, as the apostle John tells us God is love. However, raising our hands while singing happy songs, hearing prosperity, ''I'm OK you're OK'' messages, in our fluffy pews is damning to the church. We exalt ''famous'' preachers so high that they become idols. We attack each other for the way we look, books we read, movies we watch, etc. and don't abide in the Word, teaching, correcting, guiding our lives and helping each other when we see others fall. The churchis in trouble and ''cChristians'' are to blame.
This is a personal post, but also a sort of ''letter of intent''. I'm going to get deeper in the Word in 2014, and lead others accordingly. I want the church and the world to know where we are on Gods timeline. I don't have all the answers on everything, but see where we, the church, has gone astray.

Liberal vs. Conservative Christianity
Liberal vs.
Conservative Christianity

Pression; favorable to in accord with concepts of maximum
individual freedom possible, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by
governmental protection of civil liberties.
“Conservative” is defined as being “disposed to preserve
existing conditions, institutions, etc. or to restore traditional ones and to
limit change traditional in style or manner , avoiding novelty or showiness.
As American Philosopher, Dallas Willard, states, “Toxic
faith such as this can eventually lead to chaos, cults, and all manner of abuse
and evil—destroying the redemptive message of Christ.” The extreme end of conservative Christianity
implements legalistic dictates and detracts from the free gift of grace. The result, then, is that Christians are
“controlled” through the obedience to rules and laws rather than acceptance and
living within God’s grace. This extreme
lends itself to dangerous theology, as can be seen in such members of the
pastorate as Fred Phelps, pastor of Westboro
Baptist Church
On the extreme end of liberal Christianity, believers often
rely on the automatic covering of grace and an avoidance of Biblical
truth. The danger in this end of the
spectrum is that Christians refuse to take a stand for anything. While grace is, in fact, truly sufficient for
each believer, there is such great emphasis on a relationship with Jesus and
“social justice”, the essential integration of repentance, obedience,
discipleship, and righteousness into Christian living is all too often
overlooked and merely unmentioned. As
warned against in Jude’s epistle, the absence of recognizing the absolute
authority of God’s Word (2Timothy 3:16) creates a complete “free for all”
approach to living in the faith. Some
refer to this as “cafeteria-style faith”.
Thus, “the resulting mindset is I am free to do and behave as I see fit
and understand the way of Jesus…and don’t you dare judge me!” Matthew 7:1 states, “ Judge not, that ye be
not judged“, which Christians remember and throw around frequently, I redirect
them to John 7:24, which I believe completes the concept in stating, “ Judge
not according to the appearance, but judge a righteous judgment“. Using judging in matters of outward
appearance, the inward heart, etc. are often misused rather making a judgment
call, then implementing correction [in love] via a good grasp of in depth,
solid Biblical teaching.
The key aspect of liberal Christianity is “Tolerance”. When tolerance becomes the rule, the
foundational tenets of the Christian faith are gradually (and sometimes
quickly) dissolved and abandoned. This,
then, leaves a “religion” based upon one’s own personal preference. Emotional “truths” replace Biblical truths
and sin is done away with.
One additional topic is worth noting, that is a conservative
versus liberal approach to the reading and “interpretation” of scripture. I will do my best to keep this concise yet
definitive. Christians will take one of
two views of the Bible – literal or figurative.
If you hold the Bible in your hands, open it, and take what you read
literally, then you are on the conservative side. If you turn the pages and read, and take it
apart, interpreting it for yourself, then you hold a liberal approach It is
of great importance to state that the Bible does contain allegorical texts, but
Scripture interprets itself, thus, letting the reader know when it is doing
so.
A liberalist reader will hold a historical-critical, or Higher Criticism
method of interpretation. In short,
historical criticism sets out to ascertain the text’s original or primitive
meaning in it’s original historical context and its literal sense, or sensus
literalis historicus. Furthermore, it
seeks to establish a reconstruction of the historical situation of the author
and recipients of the text.
Biblical Literalism, Biblicism, or Biblical Fundamentalism
are terms for the interpretation or translation of the explicit and primary
sense of words in the Bible. These
terms describe the conservative method of Biblical interpretation often held by
fundamentalists and evangelicals.
Interestingly, a 2011 Gallup
The study of Biblical interpretation is, in itself, a topic
in which I could write an entire volume on, so I won’t do that to you here (you
may sigh in relief, it’s ok!)! You have
to know for yourself which method of interpretation you use in study and
sharing the Gospel. If you do, in fact,
hold a liberal view of Scripture, be very careful so as not to misinterpret or
mislead those who you will be responsible for teaching
I offer you a middle
of the road approach to living and approaching the faith. John best sums this up in the first chapter
of his gospel, in verse 14, where he states, Jesus is “full of grace and
truth” Jesus was loving, yet He acted
boldly and spoke directly and with authority.
He was compassionate and experienced a human range of feelings and
emotions, yet He was righteous and true, without sin. Recall when He saw the synagogue being used
by the moneychangers, He became angry and admonished them, and threw them out
with force. He said “my house is a house
of prayer and you have turned it into a den of thieves!” (Matt. 21:13I
paraphrased). Notice Jesus did not say, “You guys have
turned my house into a shamble, but that’s just my opinion…” He took a stand against evil with authority,
passion, and confidence. Jesus did not
turn a blind eye to the woman caught in the act of adultery, no He said get up,
go home, and sin no more (see John chapter 8). You see, we are to take a stand, be bold,
while exercising compassion and grace.
We, as believers, are called to be like Him. Christian means “Christ-Like”. If one is to truly be a Christian believer,
s/he is to become just that, Christ like.
Dr. Tim Clinton states, “Will we advocate for our beliefs and actively
influence others? Or are we doomed to
silence – to accept our Christian faith as a completely private matter that has
no impact on our lives in the public square?”
If you or I get wrapped up in going through life tiptoeing around so as
to not offend anyone, we embrace and present a weak and inaccurate, incomplete
Gospel.
In closing, I ask you, the reader, where are you on the spectrum? Once you answered this question, I further
inquire, are you comfortable in your position?
As believers, it is crucial that we be salt and light. Jesus tells us to share the Gospel and be
examples, bodily representations of Him on the Earth, just as He Himself was a
human representation of His Father (and ours), God.

Ever Hear
The Bible tells us clearly and without mystery how we can be
reborn and assured of our etrnal home with Jesus! Jesus is the way the truth, and the life, no
man comes to the Father without going through Jesus, the Son (John 14:6). This is because there is no other name by
which we can possibly be saved (Acts 4:12)
So how are we to be reborn? Romans 10:9 10 and verse 13 says
exactly how to be born again. “That if
thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine
heart at God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
Lord shall be saved.
It is not through anything we can do. First, you have to believe that God, in fact,
exists, then that He has a Son who He sent to dwell among us. Then call on
Jesus to save you. We all have sinned,
done wrong, at some point in your life.
Tell Him you are aware of it and tell Him you are sorry (this is called
repentance). When you pray (talk to
Him), you have been reborn! Ask Jesus to
send you the Holy Spirit to guide your steps for the remainder of your
days.
Congratulations on your rebirth! You are a new creature in Christ, and have
been adopted into God’s family, whereby you are now a child of God and can cry
out, “Abba, Father, at anytime!
Next, get a Bible and read it often. Get into fellowship with other believers,
whether it be a Bible study group or a church.
While there are many denominations, versions of the Bible etc. you
should find one in which you feel comfortable.
I, personally prefer the King James Version and a house church
format. It is the type of church
mentioned often in the New Testament.
However, I find the King James Vrsion, New King James Version, or New
International Version to be the best and most accurate translations.
I recommend daily prayer time with your Father and regular
Scripture reading. I have daily readings

Biblical Christianity: Why ALL Religions Don't Equate
There are many "religions" who claim to be Christian; Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics, and even some equate Islam to Christianity. Why? The main rationale is "Well, we all worship basically the same God." But do we? Furthermore, do we worship the same way? Let's look at this issue a bit closer today. Keep in mind that I have good friends who come from these religions I have mentioned, so I am simply going to show why Biblical Christianity is the truth and the ONLY way to Heaven and God. I will not get ino name calling, etc. just dispelling some light on what seems to be a foggy subject.The Christian Bible is an accurate portrayal of what happened to real people in real places, carrying out real events, in history. But why is history so important in Christianity? Why is it so important that the facts in the Bible really happened? The answer is, that is what sets Christianity apart from all other religions and their sacred books. The other religions are based on rituals, superstitions, philosophical principles, the teachings of men who never claimed to know the truth, myths and legends. By contrast, Christianity is based on real historical events involving real people. It is not how much faith we have in something that is important but the integrity of the object we are placing our faith on.
"Sola Scriptura" means Scripture alone. Christians believe the Bible is the only authority to guide the believer in his faith and life. Roman Catholics rely more on the Catechism and the traditions of the Church, placing it on equal to greater authority to the Bible.
Jehovah's Witnesses came to be in 1872 by their founder, Charles aze Russell. Russell claimed that the Bible could be only understood according to his interpretation. Jehovah's Witnesses (JW'S) rely on the teachings of the Watchtower Bible and Tact Society to guide them. In addition, the JW's use the New World Translation of the Bible. Because they do not believe in the trinity, all wording regarding Father, Son, and Holy Spiritis changed. In fact, The Jehovah's Witnesses vehemently portray the doctrine of the Trinity as pagan in origin and that Christendom, as a whole, has bought the lie of the devil. Along with denying the Trinity is an equally strong denial of the deity of Christ, the deity of the Holy Spirit, the belief in hell, and eternal conscious punishment in hell. The JW's say God has no son, as Jesus and Michael (the arch angel) are the sme. "Jesus was Michael the archangel who became a man," (The Watchtower, May 15, 1963, p. 307; The New World, 284.) Further beliefs regarding Jesus, "Jesus was only a perfect man, not God in flesh," (Reasoning from the Scriptures,). "Jesus did not die on a cross but on a stake," (Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, p. 89-90. 1985, p. 306.)
Other teachings of JW's include, "Their church is the self-proclaimed prophet of God," (The Watchtower, April 1, 1972, p. 197.) "They claim to be the only channel of God's truth," (The Watchtower, Feb. 15, 1981, p. 19.) "Only their church members will be saved," (The Watchtower, Feb, 15, 1979, p. 30.) "Good works are necessary for salvation," (Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 1, p. 150, 152.) "The soul ceases to exist after death," (Let God be True, p. 59, 60, 67.) "There is no hell of fire where the wicked are punished," (Let God be True, p. 79, 80.) "Only 144,000 Jehovah's Witness go to heaven," (Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp. 166-167, 361; Let God be True, p. 121.) "Only the 144,000 Jehovah's Witness are born again." (Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, p. 76.; Watchtower 11/15/54, p. 681.
"Only the 144,000 may take communion." "The Cross is a pagan symbol and should not be used", (Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, p. 90-92.)
Mormons
How it began...
Joseph Smith Jr. stated that he was disturbed by all the different denominations of Christianity and wondered which was true. In 1820, when he was 14, he went into the woods to pray concerning this and allegedly God the Father and Jesus appeared to him and told him not to join any of the denominational churches.
Three years later, on Sept. 21, 1823, when he was 17 years old, an angel called Moroni, who was supposed to be the son of Mormon, the leader of the people called the Nephites who had lived in the Americas, appeared to him and told him that he had been chosen to translate the book of Mormon which was compiled by Moroni's father around the 4th century. The book was written on golden plates hidden near where Joseph was then living in Palmyra, New York. Joseph Smith said that on Sept. 22, 1827 he received the plates and the angel Moroni instructed him to begin the translation process. The translation was finally published in 1830 as the Book of Mormon. Joseph claimed that during this translation process, John the Baptist appeared to him and ordained him to accomplish the divine work of restoring the true church by preaching the true gospel which, allegedly, had been lost from the earth.
The Book of Mormon is supposed to be the account of people who came from the Middle-East to the Americas. It covers the period of about 600 B.C. to 400 A.D. It tells of the Jaredites, people from the Tower of Babel who came to central America but perished because of their own immorality. It also describes some Jews who fled persecution in Jerusalem and came to America led by a man called Nephi. The Jews divided into two groups known as the Nephites and Lamanites who fought each other. The Nephites were defeated in 428 A.D. The Lamanites continued and are known as the American Indians. The Book of Mormon is the account of the Nephite leader, Mormon, concerning their culture, civilization, and appearance of Jesus to the Americas.
After the publication of the Book of Mormon, Mormonism began to grow.
According to Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible (History of the Church, Vol. 4, page 461).
Do Mormons (or LDS) believe in thetrinity? No. The beliefs are pretty straightforward, here is what LDS' believe, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, known as the Mormons, teaches that God the father used to be a man on another planet, that he became a God by following the laws and ordinances of that God on that planet and came to this world with his wife (she became a goddess), and that they produce a spirit offspring in heaven. These spirit offspring, which includes Jesus, the devil, and you and me, are all brothers and sisters born in the preexistence. The preexistence spirits come down and inhabit babies at the time of birth and their memories of the preexistence are lost at the time. Furthermore, faithful Mormons, who pay a full 10% tithe of their income to the Mormon church through Mormon temples, have the potential of becoming gods of their own planets and are then able to start the procedure over again."
Also, "One of the most fallacious doctrines originated by Satan and propounded by man is that man is saved alone by the grace of God; that belief in Jesus Christ alone is all that is needed for salvation," (Miracle of Forgiveness, by Spencer W. Kimball, p. 206). "A plan of salvation was needed for the people of earth so Jesus offered a plan to the Father and Satan offered a plan to the father but Jesus' plan was accepted. In effect the Devil wanted to be the Savior of all Mankind and to "deny men their agency and to dethrone god," (Mormon Doctrine, p. 193; Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p. 8).
"Jesus' sacrifice was not able to cleanse us from all our sins, (murder and repeated adultery are exceptions)," (Journal of Discourses, vol. 3, 1856, p. 247). "Good works are necessary for salvation" (Articles of Faith, p. 92). "There is no salvation without accepting Joseph Smith as a prophet of God". (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, p. 188).
Roman Catholicism
I don't need to spend a lot of time here, as I blogged on this already. Here is a little on RC's. As far as Sola Scriptura, RC's believe "Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture make up a single sacred deposit of the Word of God . . ." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 97.)
In a nutshell, [according to Slick, M.] "Being a Christian does not mean being a member of the Roman Catholic Church. It means being a member of the body of Christ which is accomplished by faith and trust in Jesus alone for the forgiveness of your sins. It means that you do not add your works to His work. Sincerity doesn't forgive sins. Membership in a church doesn't forgive sins. Doing works of penance doesn't forgive sins. Praying to Mary doesn't forgive sins. Forgiveness is received in the faithful trust and acceptance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. You must trust Jesus, God in flesh, for the forgiveness of sins, not a man made ritual and certainly not the catholic saints. Even though Roman Catholic Church affirms the Trinity, the deity of Christ, and His physical resurrection, it greatly errors in its doctrine of salvation by adding works to salvation.". The RC's also do away with the second commandment so as t allow for the worship of saints, Mary, the Pope, statues, etc. (thus they split the tenth into two separate commandments, allowing for ten).
Islam
As far as Sola Scriptura, muslims believe the Qur'an (Koran, Quran) is the Holy Book of Islam and the religion's most sacred writing. Muslims consider it the actual word of Allah and not the word of Muhammad to whom it was given. Muslim tradition states that the angel Gabriel visited Muhammad and gave him the words directly from Allah. These words were Allah's words of wisdom, truth, and commandments to His creation. The Qur'an (which means recitation) was revealed in the Arabic dialect used by the Quraish tribe of Mecca of that time. This dialect became the formal Arabic of the Islamic nations due to the distribution of Qur'anic scriptures throughout the Islamic empire. In the Arabic the Qur'an is poetic in style with rhymes, meter, and shifts in line lengths. Those who speak the language say it is a beautiful work.

Jesus is very clear on His being God's Son, a member of the trinity, and the ONLY means by which one is saved and going to have access to Heaven (read John 3, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10, 13....) Biblical Christianity holds that salvation is accessible by ALL people, equally, through belief in Jesus Christ and study of and obedience to the Scriptures. It is not by works, lest any man should boast. Christ paid our debt on the cross, that was the final work of atonement. We, as God's creation, need only believe on Him, be baptized and walk in faith! It is not always easy, we will face trials and troubles in this life, but by faith that we are saved, God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit (which is received and indwells the new believer once one accepts Christ as Saviour). The greatest differences among all the others from Biblical Christianity is we believe, read, and accep the Bible only as our source for truth, guidance, instruction, and knowledge of God.
In closing, no, not all religions are simiar, equal, or ending one in Heaven. It is important to understand ths, as if you are seeking eternal life in Heaven Biblical Christianity is the one you want to study. Jesus, the Son of God, is THE way, THE truth, and THE life, no man comes to the Father except through Him (Jn 14:6). No other religion believes or teaches this, though many claim to know of Jesus. No matter wh you are, where you're from, what religion you belong to, or what you have done in your past, Jesus is available to you right now. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins (this is called repentance, cts 2:38) you will receive forgiveness and the Holy Spirit! Ask Him to guide you the rest of your life, and help to lead you in righteousness. Get a Bible and get to a church or fellowship with believers. The RC's also do away with the second commandment so as t allow for the worship of saints, Mary, the Pope, statues, etc. (thus they split the tenth into two separate commandments, allowing for ten).
Islam
Began in 610 ad, when Mohammad heard fom the angel Gabriel, sent by allah, ina cave. Muslims do not believe in the trinity, rather the quran states, "There is only one God" (5:73; 112:1-4). "God is called Allah by Muslims" (5:73). Salvation is ONLY for muslims, "Allah will judge all people on the day of judgment". (3:30; 35:33-37; 99:6-8). "If your good deeds exceed your bad deeds, and you believe in Allah, and sincerely repent of sins, you may go to heaven (3:135; 7:8-9; 21:47; 49:14; 66:8-9).
"There is an eternal hell for those who are not Muslims, not practicing Islam, and not of the truth faith" (3:77). "Jesus was a great prophet but not the son of God (9:30), is not divine (5:17, 75), was not crucified" (4:157). As far as Sola Scriptura, muslims believe the Qur'an (Koran, Quran) is the Holy Book of Islam and the religion's most sacred writing. Muslims consider it the actual word of Allah and not the word of Muhammad to whom it was given. Muslim tradition states that the angel Gabriel visited Muhammad and gave him the words directly from Allah. These words were Allah's words of wisdom, truth, and commandments to His creation. The Qur'an (which means recitation) was revealed in the Arabic dialect used by the Quraish tribe of Mecca of that time. This dialect became the formal Arabic of the Islamic nations due to the distribution of Qur'anic scriptures throughout the Islamic empire. In the Arabic the Qur'an is poetic in style with rhymes, meter, and shifts in line lengths. Those who speak the language say it is a beautiful work.

Jesus is very clear on His being God's Son, a member of the trinity, and the ONLY means by which one is saved and going to have access to Heaven (read John 3, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10, 13....) Biblical Christianity holds that salvation is accessible by ALL people, equally, through belief in Jesus Christ and study of and obedience to the Scriptures. It is not by works, lest any man should boast. Christ paid our debt on the cross, that was the final work of atonement. We, as God's creation, need only believe on Him, be baptized and walk in faith! It is not always easy, we will face trials and troubles in this life, but by faith that we are saved, God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit (which is received and indwells the new believer once one accepts Christ as Saviour). The greatest differences among all the others from Biblical Christianity is we believe, read, and accep the Bible only as our source for truth, guidance, instruction, and knowledge of God.
In closing, no, not all religions are simiar, equal, or ending one in Heaven. It is important to understand ths, as if you are seeking eternal life in Heaven Biblical Christianity is the one you want to study. Jesus, the Son of God, is THE way, THE truth, and THE life, no man comes to the Father except through Him (Jn 14:6). No other religion believes or teaches this, though many claim to know of Jesus. No matter wh you are, where you're from, what religion you belong to, or what you have done in your past, Jesus is available to you right now. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins (this is called repentance, cts 2:38) you will receive forgiveness and the Holy Spirit! Ask Him to guide you the rest of your life, and help to lead you in righteousness. Get a Bible and get to a church or fellowship with believers.
